What you'll do

As a Software Analysis Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our software products meet the highest standards of quality. You will utilize your testing expertise to actively coach and guide team members on all aspects of quality from a testing perspective. This includes ensuring testability during the design and development stages, writing and guiding the team to write test cases, and automating tests for regression testing.

In addition, you will continuously verify and validate the product and analyze issues to identify the root cause and provide possible solutions. You will also define and document a long-term test strategy as well as maintain a test plan for each software release to ensure that all aspects of the product have been thoroughly tested before release.

 

Knowledge and experience

We're looking for someone with a Master's degree in Software Engineering or equivalent experience. You must have previous experience in quality assurance of complex embedded systems and familiarity with scripting languages such as Python or Shell. Knowledge in tools such as CANoe and CANalyzer are added advantage. It is also required that you have fluency in English, both written and spoken, as well as a valid driver's license (B).

 

Having experience in automotive and infotainment systems such as instrument cluster, HMI, connectivity, telematics, audio, Bluetooth, navigation, speech, and displays will be viewed as a meritorious qualification for this position. Furthermore, knowledge of Volvo  Elektra, CarCom, or SystemWeaver will also be considered a plus. Finally, experience in test automation, programming, or model-based development/testing is also meritorious.
