Senior Hardware Designer

 

 Swedium Global is the growing System Engineering and Solution Company, offers services like Semiconductor Engineering R&D Services, Embedded Systems Development, Custom Application Software Development, Web and Cloud Application Development, Testing Services, Consultancy and Outsourcing services to our clients across the globe for an onsite and offshore business model. Swedium Global is having presence in Sweden, Finland, Poland, Czech Republic and in India.

 you need to have:

• Master´s (or Bachelor´s) degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Experience in hardware design, including schematic design and PCB layout
• Knowledge of production testing, DfM (Design for Manufacturing) and DfT (Design for Test)
• Understanding of product certification processes
• Previous design experience with CPU (MCU systems, SoC, RF, FPGA, power electronics and analog electronics)
• Proficiency with tools like Mentor PADS and Altium
• Fluent English skills

The following skills are seen as an advantages:

• Understanding of embedded SW operation to interact with the SW development team
• Experience in simulations and Signal Integrity (SI)
• Mechanical and material knowledge
• Project management skills
• Ability to handle and support EMS
• Basic knowledge in Atex and safety design
• Finnish language skills

• Key responsibilities of the Senior Hardware Designer are

• Design and develop hardware solutions and proposals for various projects, ensuring they meet the highest quality standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software engineers and project managers, to deliver the solutions for our customers.
• Participate in the entire hardware development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing and validation.
• Participating in collaborative reviews for creating excellent products.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation in our hardware solutions.
