Job summary
Assignment Description
We are looking for an experienced software developer to join an exciting assignment within a high-tech product company. You’ll be part of a cross-functional R&D team working on a sophisticated industrial product that combines electronics, mechanics, and software—offering a unique opportunity to work close to the product and see the real-world impact of your code.

In this role, you’ll contribute to the full development cycle—from requirements and architecture to implementation and testing. The focus is on enhancing product functionality, improving energy efficiency, and refining the user experience through automation and intuitive interfaces. You’ll work in a collaborative environment where your ideas are valued, and your contributions make a tangible difference.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and improve software for complex industrial systems
Collaborate with stakeholders across R&D, lab, and production
Drive enhancements in automation, GUI, and system performance
Participate in architectural discussions and design decisions
Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and innovation

We’re seeking someone with a strong technical foundation and a passion for understanding the full product lifecycle. You’re detail-oriented, collaborative, and eager to contribute ideas that push the product forward.

Requirements
Familiarity with hardware-near development or industrial systems
Proficiency in Java and Linux-based development
Experience with C and/or C++
Several years of software development experience including embedded software development
Strong communication skills in English; Swedish is a plus
