Job Name- Senior PCB Layout Engineer
Location-Onsite in Sweden.
We are looking for an experienced PCB Layout Engineer. The role focuses on creating complex multilayer PCB designs using Siemens Expedition while working closely with hardware, mechanical, signal integrity, and manufacturing teams.
• Create PCB layouts in Siemens Expedition for high speed digital, RF, power, and mixed signal designs
• Work closely with hardware designers to translate schematics into optimized layouts
• Perform component placement, routing, stack up definition, and design rule validation
• Ensure design quality by following design standards, EMI and EMC guidelines, thermal constraints, and manufacturability requirements
• Collaborate with mechanical engineering to ensure optimal fit and structural integrity
• Prepare all layout documentation including fabrication drawings and assembly files
• Support prototype builds and resolve layout related issues during testing
• Work with suppliers and manufacturing partners to ensure smooth production flow
• Strong hands on experience with Siemens Expedition
• Proven background in PCB layout for multilayer boards
• Knowledge of high speed interfaces such as DDR, USB, HDMI, PCIe, Ethernet and similar
• Understanding of impedance control, stack up selection, and signal integrity principles
• Good understanding of EMC guidelines and DFM and DFA rules
• Experience working with global hardware design teams
• Ability to manage multiple design tasks and deliver within timelines
• Experience in RF layout
• Familiarity with power electronics design
• Exposure to video or networking products
• Experience working in agile or cross functional development environments
