Job Title - Embedded Systems - Team Lead
Role Overview
We are seeking a Tech Lead in Embedded Systems to join our team in Lund. You will be responsible for driving embedded systems projects from concept to production, ensuring high-quality delivery across hardware-near software stacks and cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
• Lead end-to-end embedded systems projects, from requirements and architecture to delivery and maintenance.
• Drive technical direction and system design for embedded platforms (RTOS/Linux-based – experience with NXP is a major plus).
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including firmware, hardware, connectivity, and QA.
• Support Project Manager with project scope, timelines, risks, and stakeholder communication.
• Ensure robust integration between hardware, drivers, middleware, and application layers.
• Oversee debugging of complex system issues spanning software, hardware, and interfaces.
• Promote best practices in code quality, CI/CD, testing, and documentation.
• Collaborate with customers, chipset vendors, and internal teams to align technical solutions.
Requirements
• 7+ years of embedded systems development experience.
• Proven track record of leading technical projects or teams.
• Strong C/C++ skills and experience with embedded Linux and/or RTOS.
• Solid understanding of hardware-software integration, drivers, and system architecture.
• Experience with debugging tools (JTAG, logic analysers, trace tools) and system profiling.
• Knowledge of e.g., Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, cellular) is a plus.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and technical project planning.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Experience with NXP is a major plus.
