Function Owner

Job Title : Function Owner

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Own the Tailgate and Charge Lid Functions function from concept through production and aftermarket

• Drive roadmaps and continuous improvement

• Define and maintain functional and non functional requirements together with the System Designer

• Act as the primary interface towards stakeholders and suppliers

• Ensure realization, verification, and validation of the function

• Manage interfaces with related vehicle functions

• Secure legal and regulatory compliance across global markets

• Drive root cause analysis, follow-ups and corrective actions for quality issues

Required Qualifications

- You have experience from Volvo Cars and its way of working, with solid background in function development, requirement management, and driving development activities.

- You are well organized and a natural leader with strong project management, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

- You take ownership, speak up, and have a proactive, hands on mindset. You are stress resilient and thrive in a cross functional environment.

- You are fluent in English; Swedish is a merit.
