We are currently looking for a Senior Electronics Engineer for an exciting assignment within an international industrial technology environment based in Sweden.

This role is ideal for an experienced engineer with a strong passion for embedded systems, digital electronics, and advanced technical problem-solving. You will play a key role in product maintenance, troubleshooting, and technical investigations within a complex controller and automation environment.

About the Assignment

As a Senior Electronics Engineer, you will work closely with highly skilled engineering teams supporting advanced controller platforms and embedded electronic systems. The role combines hands-on technical investigations, long-term product maintenance, and collaboration across multiple engineering disciplines.

You will contribute with deep technical expertise in digital electronics, FPGA-based designs, and embedded controller systems while supporting ongoing product improvements and customer-related investigations.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze, maintain, and troubleshoot embedded electronic systems
  • Work with digital electronics and embedded controller designs
  • Support advanced investigations and root-cause analysis activities
  • Collaborate with engineering teams handling customer cases and technical improvements
  • Contribute to maintenance and lifecycle management of controller products
  • Work with FPGA-based solutions and embedded hardware platforms
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within electronics and controller development
  • Participate in technical discussions and provide expert-level engineering support

Required Experience & Competence

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering or a related technical field
  • 5–10 years of experience as an Electronics Engineer
  • Strong experience within digital electronics and embedded systems
  • Experience working with microcontroller-based designs
  • Hands-on experience with FPGA development and VHDL programming
  • Understanding of embedded software, firmware, and hardware/software interaction
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently in technically complex environments
  • Excellent communication skills in English

  • Experience from maintenance-focused engineering environments
  • Experience supporting long-lifecycle industrial products
  • Background within industrial automation, controller systems, or communication products
  • Experience working in international engineering organizations
