Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Automation Engineer with 10+ years of experience in industrial automation, PLC/HMI software development, and automation standardization. The role involves designing, developing, testing, and supporting automation solutions throughout the product lifecycle while working in an Agile environment with global cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop automation solutions using Siemens and/or Allen-Bradley PLCs and HMIs.
• Develop standardized and reusable PLC software libraries and web-based HMIs.
• Integrate industrial communication protocols such as PROFINET, PROFIBUS, EtherNet/IP, Modbus TCP/IP, and OPC UA.
• Support New Product Development (NPD) and Existing Product Development (EPD) activities, including software development, verification, validation, FAT/SAT, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
• Implement secure automation solutions following OT Cybersecurity best practices and IoT integration.
• Collaborate with R&D, Product Management, Sales, Service, and regional engineering teams to deliver high-quality automation solutions.
• Prepare technical documentation, perform root cause analysis, and provide technical support, mentoring, and customer training.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 10+ years of experience in industrial automation and PLC/HMI software development.
• Strong hands-on experience with Siemens and/or Allen-Bradley control systems.
• Knowledge of OOP, ISA-88, PackML, Agile/Scrum, Azure DevOps, and industrial networking.
• Experience in software architecture, version control, FAT/SAT, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Automation, or a related engineering discipline.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills with the ability to work in a global environment.
