Looking for an experienced Integration Tester / QA Engineer for one of our clients in Stockholm. The assignment starts in September 2026 and is expected to run for approximately one year.

Role Description

As an Integration Tester / QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of integration solutions across multiple systems and applications. The role involves testing backend integrations, validating APIs, verifying data flows, and ensuring seamless system-to-system communication.

Key Responsibilities

  • Testing backend integrations, primarily APIs developed in MuleSoft.
  • Performing API testing, including functional and integration testing.
  • Testing file-based integrations and validating formats such as JSON, XML, and CSV.
  • Verifying data flows and end-to-end system integrations.
  • Conducting frontend testing to ensure functionality and user experience.
  • Identifying, documenting, and tracking defects through to resolution.
  • Collaborating closely with developers, analysts, and business stakeholders to ensure high-quality deliveries.

Required Competencies

  • Strong experience in Software Testing and Quality Assurance.
  • Proven experience testing integration-heavy solutions and distributed systems.
  • Hands-on experience with API testing and backend integration testing.
  • Strong understanding of system-to-system integrations and data flow validation.
  • Experience testing file-based integrations using JSON, XML, and CSV formats.
  • Ability to design, execute, and maintain structured test plans and test cases.
  • Experience with defect management and test reporting tools.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a structured and collaborative environment.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with MuleSoft integrations.
  • Experience using Jira, TestRail, and GitHub.
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted testing tools and modern QA practices.
  • Experience within Agile development environments.
  • Knowledge of automation testing methodologies and best practices.
