Job Title - Business Solution Architect – Supply Planning & Kinaxis

Job Description

We are looking for a Business Solution Architect with strong Supply Planning expertise and experience with Kinaxis Maestro/RapidResponse.

This is a business-facing role at the intersection of Supply Chain and IT. You will understand how Supply Planning processes should work from a business and user perspective and translate these needs into scalable system solutions across Kinaxis and the surrounding system landscape.

You do not need to be a Kinaxis developer, but you need enough hands-on experience with Supply Planning solutions in Kinaxis to understand the platform, evaluate solution alternatives and challenge and collaborate effectively with IT teams and Kinaxis consultants.

What you will do
- Translate Supply Planning processes and business requirements into functional solution designs, detailed process flows and system requirements.
- Support the continued development of Kinaxis Maestro/RapidResponse and its Supply Planning capabilities.
- Assess how proposed changes affect processes, users, data, integrations, ERP and surrounding systems.
- Evaluate solution alternatives together with business stakeholders, IT and external Kinaxis consultants.
- Ensure solutions work from both an end-user and end-to-end system perspective.
- Contribute to planning-system roadmaps, enhancements and transformation initiatives.
- Support testing, validation, implementation and business adoption.

Must have:
- Strong experience in Supply Planning and adjacent Supply Chain processes from a business perspective.
- Practical experience with Kinaxis Maestro/RapidResponse, specifically exposure to Supply Planning solutions.
- Experience translating business requirements and processes into functional system solutions.
- Good understanding of planning systems, ERP, integrations and data flows.
- Experience working between Supply Chain/business and IT.
- Ability to discuss and challenge solution designs with IT teams, vendors and implementation consultants.
- Strong stakeholder and communication skills in English.

Nice to have:
- Demand Planning, Inventory Planning, S&OP, S&OE or IBP.
- Kinaxis implementation or major enhancement experience.
- ERP integration with planning platforms.
- Business Process Owner or Product Owner experience.
- Agile delivery, backlog or roadmap management.
- Experience from global Supply Chain/Operations environments.
