.Net Developer

Swedium Global is looking in the Energy sector, as n .NET Developer (m/f/d) with ETRM Allegro experience.

Job description:

Workload: Full-time

Location: 100% remote 

Language: English

Region: Offshore preferred; Nearshore also possible!

You will support the development and maintenance of the client's energy trading landscape. The team is responsible for all changes within the ETRM Allegro system, ranging from small enhancements to large feature implementations, as well as the handling and resolution of L3 incidents.

Must-Have Skills:

• 5+ years of experience in .NET development (C#, .NET Core / .NET 6+)
• Experience with ETRM systems, especially Allegro and/or Horizon
• Strong experience with microservices, APIs, and distributed systems
• Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services and AKS/Kubernetes
• Solid experience with SQL (T-SQL / PL-SQL)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and DevOps practices
• Strong understanding of modern software design principles and unit testing

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Knowledge of the energy trading lifecycle
• Exposure to Agentic AI and spec-driven development
• Experience with reporting tools and integration patterns
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a cross-functional, agile environment
• Proactive mindset with a passion for modern engineering practices and continuous improvement
• Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with business and technical stakeholders

Responsibilities:

• Handle L3 incidents and requests related to supported systems.
• Manage and implement changes and updates within the ETRM Allegro platform, including both small enhancements and larger feature developments.
• Oversee and support various Allegro modules and functionalities.

Tasks:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable .NET applications using C#, .NET Core 6+, and modern software engineering principles including SOLID, Clean Architecture, and Domain-Driven Design (DDD).
• Build and enhance ETRM solutions (Allegro/Horizon) supporting the full trade lifecycle, including trade capture, scheduling, risk, and settlements.
• Develop and deploy cloud-native applications on Microsoft Azure, including Azure App Services, Functions-as-a-Service (FaaS), and containerized solutions using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Contribute to spec-driven development initiatives and explore Agentic AI / AI-assisted solutions where applicable.
• Create and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure high-quality and maintainable software.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot, optimize, and support distributed systems and cloud-based applications.
• Develop SQL queries, stored procedures, and reporting solutions.
• Follow DevOps, CI/CD, security, and engineering best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and promote cloud security and DevOps best practices.
