DevEx Consultant

Swedium Global is looking for a DevEx consultant for one of our customers

Join our Developer Experience initiative as part of the team owning, managing, and optimizing tools and practices supporting Software Development Lifecycle across the organization. You'll build a developer experience platform, collaborating with technical leaders and engineering teams to drive productivity, standardize processes, and enhance engineering culture. Technical skills:

• Strong programming skills in at least one modern language (Python, Go, JavaScript/TypeScript).
• Experience implementing or maintaining source code management systems at scale.
• Practical knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation.
• Understanding of infrastructure-as-code and configuration management.
• Experience building developer-facing APIs and integrations.
• Exposure to public Cloud providers like AWS and/or Azure

Communication skills:
Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey technical information to both technical and non-technical team members and colleagues.
Can build good cross-team relationships with DevEx champions and engineering leads.

Documentation skills:
Capable of producing meaningful and easy to read documentation and guidelines for engineers.

Problem-solving skills:
Be able to identify and solve complex technical problems and anticipate and prevent potential issues before they arise. Proactive attitude to identifying and resolving the issues.

Team player:
Works collaboratively with other team members and other teams to achieve our goals. Cater for good collaboration within the team and ensure the team's work progresses efficiently and smoothly.
