Job Title - Senior FPGA Developer 

We are seeking a senior FPGA developer with extensive experience in developing advanced FPGA solutions for complex technical systems. The role encompasses the entire development lifecycle—from requirements analysis, architecture, and design to implementation, simulation, verification, and integration into the final product.

You will become part of a cross-functional, integrated FPGA and software team comprising approximately eight people. The work involves close collaboration with software developers, system engineers, and hardware designers, among others. The role therefore requires both extensive technical expertise and strong communication and collaboration skills across different technical disciplines.

• Responsibilities
  Analyze and break down system requirements into implementable FPGA requirements.
  Develop FPGA architectures and technical solutions.
  Develop and implement FPGA designs using languages ​​such as VHDL or Verilog/SystemVerilog.
  Work with signal processing and the implementation of signal processing algorithms on FPGAs.
  Conduct simulation, testing, and verification of FPGA designs.
  Perform timing analysis, as well as resource and performance optimization.
  Integrate FPGA solutions with software, electronics, and other subsystems.
  Troubleshoot complex issues in both simulation and laboratory environments.
  Conduct design and code reviews.
  Create and maintain technical documentation.
  Contribute to the improvement of development methods, tools, and workflows.
  Support and share knowledge with other team members.
  

• Required Qualifications
  At least ten years of experience in FPGA development is highly desirable.
  Solid experience in FPGA design, implementation, and verification.
  Proficiency in VHDL and/or Verilog/SystemVerilog.
  Experience with signal processing and digital signal processing (DSP).
  Experience with the simulation, debugging, and verification of FPGA solutions.
  Understanding of digital electronics, interfaces, and hardware-software integration.
  Experience with timing closure, constraints, and FPGA resource optimization.
  Ability to interpret requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions.
  Proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

  Experience with Xilinx/AMD FPGAs.
  Experience with development tools such as Vivado and Vitis.
  Knowledge in areas such as filter design, FFT, modulation, data processing, or high-speed signaling.
  Experience with embedded systems and integration with processors or embedded Linux.
  Experience with Python, C, or C++ for testing, verification, and tool development.
  Experience with version control, automated build flows, and CI/CD.
  Experience with safety-critical, defense-related, or other complex technical systems.
