Senior Quality Automation Engineer

Job Title -Senior Quality Automation Engineer

Job descriptiom

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Develop and execute test plans and test cases for software integrations.
• Identify, analyze, and document defects in both HIL environments and in-vehicle.
• Work closely with developers to resolve issues and ensure defects are addressed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and system architecture.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for testing processes.
• Maintain and update test environments.
• Design and implement automated integration tests to enhance efficiency and early testing.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

•  5+ years of experience integrating and testing automotive infotainment or similar consumer electronics devices.
• Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and techniques.
• Proficiency in version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Solid knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Shell scripting) for test automation. Experience with POSIX-based embedded systems (Linux, Android, QNX).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage time effectively.
• Hands-on experience with Android/ADB.
• Experience with Pytest, Appium, and other automation tools.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Automotive, CAN, and Ethernet experience is a plus.
