Job Description

 

Key Responsibilities

• Create and evaluate designs, selecting the best solutions based on technology, risk, and cost during concept development
• Develop and manage time plans, ensure progress reporting, and maintain technical documentation, including 2D drawings, 3D models, engineering specifications and more
• Collaborate with and lead cross-functional teams (ME, SQA, procurement) to integrate components into vehicles during prototype series and beyond
• Define testing criteria with system & validation engineers, oversee virtual and physical testing, and monitor validation progress
• Ensure supplier readiness, finalise documentation, and establish quality processes to prepare for industrialisation and series production
• Act as the primary point of contact for resolving technical issues after production begins

Skill requirements

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering, Product development, or similar (BSc, BEng or above)
• Experience within the Automotive sector and ICE development is advantageous
• B driver’s license
• TeamCenter experience
• Catia V5
• Change management (CR/CN)
• Fluent in English
