Job Title -Control Systems Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Control Systems Engineer to support a customer development project involving advanced dynamic systems and moving platforms. The assignment focuses on analysing system behaviour, evaluating existing control strategies and improving stability, robustness, responsiveness and overall system performance through data-driven analysis, modelling and optimization of control parameters. The ideal candidate combines strong theoretical knowledge in control engineering with hands-on experience from development and verification of real-world products and systems operating in dynamic environments.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Control Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics, or a related technical discipline.

  • 4–7 years of experience in industrial product development or system development.

  • Strong hands-on experience in:

    • PID controller design and tuning

    • Feedback control systems

    • System identification

    • Dynamic-system modelling

    • Classical and modern control theory

    • Signal processing and filtering

    • Analysis of measured data and system logs

  • Experience with sensor-based control systems.

  • Proficiency in Python, MATLAB/Simulink, or similar tools for data analysis, modelling, and simulation.

  • Ability to independently analyse complex technical problems and propose practical engineering solutions.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in one or more of the following areas is highly desirable:

  • Automotive systems, vehicles, moving platforms, or motion-controlled systems

  • Robotics and autonomous systems

  • Stabilization and motion-control applications

  • Sensor fusion and state estimation

  • IMU-based systems, inertial sensors, gyroscopes, and accelerometers

  • Real-time control systems

  • Control-system verification and validation

  • Model-based development

  • Simulation and dynamic modelling of physical systems

  • Kalman filtering and other state-estimation techniques
