Job Title - Electronic Designer

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced electronics designer with at least five years of experience in electronics development. The role involves work throughout the development chain – from requirements and design to testing, verification and finished product.

The designs often include both analogue and digital video management, which places high demands on robust electronics design, signal integrity and EMC. You will work independently with electronics design and at the same time work closely with other disciplines in development and production.

Duties
Electronics design, schematic drawing and component selection
Design and dimensioning of power supplies and DC/DC converters
Analysis and optimization of signal integrity for analog and digital signals
Design and management of analog and digital video electronics
EMC adaptation and EMC related analyses
PCB design and layout and layout review
Test, troubleshooting and verification of electronics and prototypes
Power and power analyses
Production of technical documentation and design documentation
Participation in design reviews and technical discussions with other development teams

Competence Requirements
At least 5 years of experience in electronics development/electronics design
Good experience in both analog and digital electronics
Experience in schematic design and PCB layout
Good understanding of signal integrity and high-speed design
Experience in power design, power analysis and DC/DC conversion
Knowledge in EMC and design for EMC
Experience in testing, verification and debugging at the board and system level
Ability to work independently from requirements and concepts to verified design

Experience
with analogue and digital video handling
Experience with high-speed interfaces and complex multilayer boards
Experience with simulation and analysis of signal and power integrity
Experience in product development where high demands are placed on robustness, quality and reliability
Experience in working closely with mechanical, FPGA, embedded or software development
